Do you think we got this thing working, guys? It looks like it... Ah yes, we've definitely got it now. Hello there, ladies and gentlemen!

[For a moment the journal is swarmed by two pink blobs. Once Duplica says hello they both let out a few cries before backing off. One Ditto decides to stay on the floor, but the other jumps up into Duplica's arms.]

My name is Duplica. I've been here for some time already but I didn't feel like jumping right into using my journal here without first getting a better understanding of how it works. [Otherwise it would be like jumping up on stage without properly rehearsing for a role.] I think I get it now though! Of course, these two were a big help.

Anyway, I was wondering if any of you out there would mind giving me any spare clothes you might have. I'm sorry if that sounds a little strange, it's just I don't want to go and take too much from the clothing store you see.

[If she just went in and took enough clothes to make up all the costumes she had back home then the clothing store might have trouble outfitting anyone for the next few weeks.]

I think that's all there is to say right now, I hope the entire audience was able to catch that. Now Mini-Dit, say goodbye!

[At that, the Ditto that had remained on the floor slides back over to the journal, smothering it in pink again. Ditto transition, fade out!

A little time after addressing the journals, Duplica heads to the clothing store to see if she can find any of her costumes from home that might have shown up recently. Luckily, she's able to pick up this outfit pretty soon into her visit. She continues to look around the rest of the store whilst dressed up as everyone's favourite Pokemon nurse, accompanied by her two Ditto which hop and crawl after her all around the store. If anyone approaches her now she'll attempt to pull off her Nurse Joy impersonation, even if she doesn't have a Chansey to complete the look.]

[Wow. The next thing you'll be telling me is that Misty was written out and replaced with three other girls in the mean time. Get real.]

I'm sure it'll be fine. Come on Ditto, Mini-Dit!

[Duplica takes the bag and motions for her Ditto to follow her as she makes a lap of the fountain. Once she disappears behind the fountain and shows up on the other side it seems like she's been able to quickly put her hair up and don the clothes in the bag (and roll the pants up a little, because tall guys are tall). Not only that, but her Dittos have been replaced by a Pansage and a Crustle, thought the Pansage looks a tiny bit shorter than Cilan's.]

Ah, this taste is practically perfect! Wouldn't you agree?

[Her 'Pansage' seems to nod in agreement at that.]

You got it! [Totally on the way now.]

[Yeah, about that--]

Oh! [Aaaahhhh, this is neat. Just grow a few inches and change your hair a little more in color and you'd be spot on!] My, I must agree--your impression of us is in good taste!

[Cilan's Pokemon are impressed as well, especially with the Dittos having impersonated them as well--Pansage has noticed the height difference and is looking at Min-Dit curiously. TINIER PANSAGE...]

[Take your sweet time, Gold.] Thought so! Do you specialise in a certain type of Pokemon?

[... Well damn.

Just wait for her to get her hands on some stilts, hair dye and coloured contacts.]

Well I would hate to be in poor taste, especially as your- our own sense of taste seems to be incredibly well defined.

[LARGER PANSAGE. Mini-Dit tries to act as Pansagey as it can, looking back with an equally curious expression. I'm not short, you're just way too tall!

Duplica meanwhile tries to keep up with her Cilan imitation-]

Such similarities, were my hair only a different hue then the match would have been complete, a near harmonious and refreshing imitation!

I specialize in Pokémon I wanna form bonds with!

That sounds great! I'm sure a lot of trainers could say the same, bonding with your Pokemon is very important. [Buuut she won't go into the importance of bonding and friendship and all that with another trainer. Not now.]

I guess you could say I specialise in Ditto that I want to form bonds with. [So. Every Ditto then.]

[~~Well you're doing a better job of being a Connoisseur than Burgundy so far--I mean what~~]

Yes, yes, you're quite right! Perhaps it's biased, but I can say with absolute certainty that your portrayal of us has a charm with a passionate flavor to it--speaking as both a Connoisseur and as someone with an interest in acting, this imitation has a worthy taste that earns a seal of approval from us.

[Jiii Tiny Pansage...which Cilan notices a little more now as he examines Duplica's pokemon next.] Your Ditto appear to have done an excellent job of matching with the appearances of my Pokemon as well in order to help create a similar marriage...though, this one seems a little smaller than Pansage is... [Indicating Mini-Dit, though judging by his tone, he seems to understand why it has that name to begin with.]

[~~What was that?! Alors, how horrible! Your Pokemon are all tres grotesque! How do you like my gratuitous french, c'est bon, oui?!~~]

I'm glad to hear you approve, especially as this is coming from someone who also displays a certain enthusiasm for acting, like myself.

[Duplica leans in and gestures to Mini-Dit with an outstretched arm, trying to get Cilan's mannerisms down too.]

Mini-Dit possesses a unique taste, one I'm sure you have never witnessed before. You see, whenever Mini-Dit takes the form of a Pokemon of a larger stature it always remains the same size. Though the appearance changes the true flavour comes through and remains the same!

[As though to better demonstrate this, Duplica nods to her two Ditto, urging them to transform again. Ditto takes the form of Stunfisk this time whilst Mini-Dit becomes a Mini-Crustle.]

Hah, not likely. But I'll never underestimate one again!

Well, that's a start at least. Hoping for a completely transformation right off the bat might be asking too much.

[~~Rimshot.~~]

[~~Wow that was more gratuitous french than I ever needed to hear in my life~~

...And now he and his Pokemon are doing a bit of a double-take. TINY CRUSTLE IT'S SO CUTE...Cilan gets down on his knees for a moment to get a better look at it.]

Mm, I see~! Despite being of a smaller size than the original, it's still a palatable imitation that is endearing on the eyes--you certainly have a rare Pokemon as one of your partners, Duplica.

Yeah. [Whoa. Admitting it? ...But she is.] Yours are different.

[That's great to hear!] Ditto are pretty unique, there isn't a single other Pokemon out there that's quite like them.

[Well Grimer and Muk sort of look the same, being amorphous blobs too and all. But that's the only slight similarity.]

It's a good thing Mini-Dit isn't self-conscious or anything. Mini-Dit simply waves one of its claws in response to this reaction. Sup.

Duplica breaks character for just a moment whilst she talks about her darling Mini-Dit.]

Mmhm! Mini-Dit is definitely a unique one! The perfect addition to my team of Dittos that can all transform in their own special ways. [Ahem.] The perfect accompanying taste, rather.

Show me.

[No really. :|a]

Okay! You ready Ditto, Mini-Dit? [Both Pokemon nod in response.] Here we go, transform!

[With a gesture towards the front desk, Ditto flashes bright white before growing in size to match the full length of the desk, getting the dimensions and even the corner at the end down. ~~I hope I'm using the SOS floor plan right for this. Whateverwhatever, Ditto is now a long L-shaped 'desk'.~~

Mini-Dit meanwhile has the task of transforming into a chair... Which ends up being the size of a small stool given how it transforms, but it gets the job. With the transformation finished, Duplica kicks back in a similar pose to what Haruhi was in before.]

Ta-da!

Oh... oh wow, that big one can reach some pretty huge dimensions despite his size! That's really impressive! [Her eyes are practically glowing here. She's excited. She's leaning forward and feeling out hte texture of the desk, inspecting the corners. Fli[ping behind it. Feeling the chair...

Groping Duplica.

Wait no that was brief and only because she was going to pull her off the chair to check the top of it.][

Ditto can transform into even bigger things than just a desk. If there were any Onix around here then you would be in for a real show!

[Not that an Onix itself wouldn't be cool to look at, but a little pink blob growing to nearly ten meters high is even more impressive than a desk-

Waitwhat. Okay. Inspect the chair all you want, she's practically jumped out of the way after that. Both Ditto should feel vaguely of what they've transformed into but it should be easy to tell that something feels off. Despite Mini-Dit's size and how they feel though it's a perfect imitation.]

Onix, huh... I think I know that one.. huh huh... the texture's about a B-...

[And now she goes to sit on the little chair now, spinning on it imperiously before standing up and nodding to herself]

Okay, you all pass!

We do? That's great! [... Ahaha.] Pass what exactly? I didn't think we were being tested for anything.

[But hey, a B- without even warming up before hand. That's pretty good for whatever this is. Ditto and Mini-Dit return to their normal forms and look equally as bemused as Duplica does.]

If I'm showing you the closet. Come on, it's in the back room. [She'll need to jump or go around then front desk for it, but through the door into the main meeting room and then to the side. And once there, she pauses dramatically before... opening it.

It's a walk in closet full as big as two Luceti bedrooms, filled with clothes. A changing station. A make up station. Stand up mirrors. Lots of costumes, a ton of more regular things, and everything between]

[Duplica follows Haruhi into the main room and waits as the closet door is opened. That is no closet. The collection in here could definitely rival the huge collection of costumes she had back at the House of Imite. And the fact there are mirrors and a place to apply make up in there too... It's like she's walked into an actor's paradise.

By the look on Duplica's face it's obvious that she's doing a poor job of hiding her excitement.]

This is incredible! You have everything anyone could ever need in here! [It's not long before Duplica walks on in and starts looking at all the clothes on display, with Ditto and Mini-Dit following along.]

Mmhm! Years of collecting have really paid off in this respect! This is the storehouse of the SOS-Brigade!

[Which is way, mostly in the back furthest from the door, there's also other items. A chest with fireworks in it, props for things, other big items which didn't fit on the shelves in the main room (which were mostly books and board games), a tiki head or three]

No kidding, it must have taken forever to find everything here.

[Don't mind as Duplica steps forward, into the clothes and emerges a moment later wearing a new outfit. She only changes her clothes for a moment before stepping forward again and reemerging in her original attire.]
