Do you think we got this thing working, guys? It looks like it... Ah yes, we've definitely got it now. Hello there, ladies and gentlemen!

[For a moment the journal is swarmed by two pink blobs. Once Duplica says hello they both let out a few cries before backing off. One Ditto decides to stay on the floor, but the other jumps up into Duplica's arms.]

My name is Duplica. I've been here for some time already but I didn't feel like jumping right into using my journal here without first getting a better understanding of how it works. [Otherwise it would be like jumping up on stage without properly rehearsing for a role.] I think I get it now though! Of course, these two were a big help.

Anyway, I was wondering if any of you out there would mind giving me any spare clothes you might have. I'm sorry if that sounds a little strange, it's just I don't want to go and take too much from the clothing store you see.

[If she just went in and took enough clothes to make up all the costumes she had back home then the clothing store might have trouble outfitting anyone for the next few weeks.]

I think that's all there is to say right now, I hope the entire audience was able to catch that. Now Mini-Dit, say goodbye!

[At that, the Ditto that had remained on the floor slides back over to the journal, smothering it in pink again. Ditto transition, fade out!

A little time after addressing the journals, Duplica heads to the clothing store to see if she can find any of her costumes from home that might have shown up recently. Luckily, she's able to pick up this outfit pretty soon into her visit. She continues to look around the rest of the store whilst dressed up as everyone's favourite Pokemon nurse, accompanied by her two Ditto which hop and crawl after her all around the store. If anyone approaches her now she'll attempt to pull off her Nurse Joy impersonation, even if she doesn't have a Chansey to complete the look.]

It sure seems that way, though I've only run into one other trainer in the building so far. You mean to say there are more staying here? [Whilst Gold is walking and talking, Duplica will be setting up a little something for when Gold shows up.]

[And Haruhi kicks up to a standing position behind the front desk, grinning and looking over her... and the dittos. Wow, funky. Oh well]

So what do those guys do anyway?

[That works for almost no one ever. She takes a minute to actually look at the ridiculously long Luceti calendar.]

Two months?

[That was very convincing (well, except Meowth hasn't said that in forever since having shown up in Best Wishes but I digress), as Cilan gives a slight sigh.]

Yes, that would be them. Unfortunately, I am aware of those three since they have a tendency to cause trouble for my traveling companions and I in Unova as well.

Ditto and Mini-Dit here can transform into any other Pokemon. Not only that, but they can transform into all sorts of objects, people, anything they can see!

[They can even transform into things they can't see, but then you start losing details when you rely solely on a Ditto's memory.]

Two whole months huh? I'm sorry to hear that.

[Unless you're enjoying yourself here, Duplica really can't see much of an upside to this situation though.]

[Strength is important, but you can't forget the whole bonds, love and friendship thing too!]

Silver. You might want to remember what I look like, though, cause there's some other guy around here with the same name as me.

[Oh, right... Carving our names into the rock of something-or-other. Meowth, wisest of wise... Meowths. Oh whatever, it was relevant back in her day!]

... Would one of these companions of yours have a Pikachu?

[It's just that the only times she's actually run into Team Rocket have been when she's met up with a particular trainer and his friends, even if they meet in another region. Call it a hunch.]

[Huh. 'Silver' must be a more popular name than she first thought.]

Don't worry, I'm sure I won't forget your face anytime soon.

[How else would she surprise Silver by imitating him the next time they meet if she forgot what he looked like?]

[...Well Duplica, your hunch appears to be correct since Cilan is a little surprised at first.]

As a matter of fact, he does have a Pikachu. I take it you've met Ash before?

Heh. Good.

Raven. Not really. But we're stuck.

[So don't complain. Besides, not everyone here is...terrible...she guesses.]

Yes, I have! And Misty and Brock too! I never thought I would ever run into somebody else who might have met him like this.

[How exciting, meeting a friend of a friend in a whole other world.]

I get that everyone is stuck here, but it seems like a lot of people are still enjoying themselves. I met a whole bunch of people while I was looking for a place to stay! [And they all seemed okay with being here.]

[Welp.]

I didn't think I would be battling anyone so soon after arriving here. Then again, I didn't think there would be anyone in a whole other world that would think Ditto are weak.

[He actually doesn't know Misty and Brock very well at all, but...]

It's not something I had really expected either, since this is the first time I've ever met his friends from regions outside of Unova--still, it's a surprise with a pleasant taste.

You'd be surprised. [snort] Most people from Johto don't bother training 'em.

[He's met Ash but not Misty or Brock? But they're inseparable! It's not like Cilan could possibly be traveling with him now or anything!]

Same here! Maybe when I finish with the acting competition back in Johto I'll try and see if there's any way I can come visit everyone in Unova.

[But oh gosh there would be so many issues with that. Why is time and memory loss such a pain?]

Now then! Talking about Ash like this has reminded me why I had you come out here in the first place. Do you have those spare clothes with you?

Looks like I really picked the right building to stay in then! I guess I can take it that you're a trainer too.

Then I hope this meeting has made you reconsider training a Ditto of your own.

[Because Ditto are amazing okay, everyone should bother with Dittos.]

That's right! Apparently this building I'm staying in is home to lots of other trainers too, Ditto and Mini-Dit will definitely be happy about that.

[What's with that pause there missy.] Are you fond of Pokemon, Raven?

[Except he is traveling with Ash because...well he's Brock's replacement and idk writers or something.]

I'm sure Ash would like that. [Oh, thanks for the reminder. He's sort of suspected what she wants them for now, but he hands over the bag that has a spare of his current outfit in it.] Here you are. I hope this will be sufficient enough for you.
