Do you think we got this thing working, guys? It looks like it... Ah yes, we've definitely got it now. Hello there, ladies and gentlemen!

[For a moment the journal is swarmed by two pink blobs. Once Duplica says hello they both let out a few cries before backing off. One Ditto decides to stay on the floor, but the other jumps up into Duplica's arms.]

My name is Duplica. I've been here for some time already but I didn't feel like jumping right into using my journal here without first getting a better understanding of how it works. [Otherwise it would be like jumping up on stage without properly rehearsing for a role.] I think I get it now though! Of course, these two were a big help.

Anyway, I was wondering if any of you out there would mind giving me any spare clothes you might have. I'm sorry if that sounds a little strange, it's just I don't want to go and take too much from the clothing store you see.

[If she just went in and took enough clothes to make up all the costumes she had back home then the clothing store might have trouble outfitting anyone for the next few weeks.]

I think that's all there is to say right now, I hope the entire audience was able to catch that. Now Mini-Dit, say goodbye!

[At that, the Ditto that had remained on the floor slides back over to the journal, smothering it in pink again. Ditto transition, fade out!

A little time after addressing the journals, Duplica heads to the clothing store to see if she can find any of her costumes from home that might have shown up recently. Luckily, she's able to pick up this outfit pretty soon into her visit. She continues to look around the rest of the store whilst dressed up as everyone's favourite Pokemon nurse, accompanied by her two Ditto which hop and crawl after her all around the store. If anyone approaches her now she'll attempt to pull off her Nurse Joy impersonation, even if she doesn't have a Chansey to complete the look.]

[Duplica steps a little closer to the journal so that it's better focused on her Ditto. This face? It's the face of a true battler.]

I am! A true Ditto Master can only get stronger through battling after all.

I've never battled that way. I'd be extremely interested in a battle.

Is that so? [Hehe.] All right then, if you're still interested by the time you get here then we can have a little match. My Ditto would love to have a battle with you!

Right. I'll be down soon.

[He'll gather up some of his traveling clothes, since those suit either gender. Namely because he's not in on the scheme!

But he'll show up as promised, in the right area.]

[Duplica is standing outside CH1 with both of her Dittos ready and raring to go. When she spots the person she saw on the journals approaching she walks on over to say hello.]

I'm glad you could make it.

[So, about those clothes.]

[He offers them over! It's mostly capes and cloaks, some traveling cargos, a spare t-shirt, etc.]

Here's some of the spare stuff I have. It's mostly clothes I wear during training.

These are great, thanks!

[Without another word, Duplica heads back inside CH1, leaving her Dittos outside. She's only gone for a second, soon reappearing all dressed up in the clothes she was just given.]

Let's not waste any more time. This match will be a great training exercise.

[She's also mimicking Green's voice. If it weren't for her hair then it would be a pretty convincing imitation. Wigs are so hard to come by.]

[What the?? What on earth???]

[What's wrong Green, not used to someone imitating you?]

If you're thinking of backing out...

I--how are you doing that? I've never seen an impersonation like that.

Not many people here have, at least not yet anyway.

[As for how she's pulling it off? That's a secret.]

Are you actually a boy?

[Is that why your voice can go so deep?]

[... What? That's a new one. Duplica's voice breaks for a moment while she explains.]

No way, I'm not a boy. Being able to change my voice like this is all a part of what I do. I'm an imitator, from the House of Imite!

I've never heard of a skill like that. It's... impressive.

[Incredibly strange but you know what, one of his best friend has psychic powers and healing powers, he really shouldn't be this surprised.]

Thank you! I've yet to find any other imitators, so I guess it's a pretty unique skill to have.

[Ahem. Back to being Green.]

Now, are you ready to get things started?

[Action]

[cooltrainer]

...Alright.

[He'll let out Scizor! Better to do that than one of his more destructive Pokémon.]

Let's go!

[Action]

[Great, a Pokemon she's familiar with from Johto. You take this one, Ditto.]

Here we go Ditto, Transform!

[Ditto bounces forward in front of Duplica and starts glowing white, soon taking the form of a Scizor. Your turn Green, show her what moves that Scizor of yours knows.]

[Action]

[cooltrainer]

[Well, may as well!]

Slash!

[Careful, this Scizor is very intense! It rushes in, slashing at Ditto before it has too much time to settle into its new skin.]

[Action]

[It's going to be a tough battle, as far as Duplica knows Scizor doesn't learn any moves that will be effective in this situation. And with that speed she has little time to tell her Ditto to do anything save for 'dodge it'. Though Ditto tries to back off the Slash attack soon lands and sends Ditto sliding backwards.]

It's fast Ditto, try and match it with a Metal Claw!

[If it knows Slash then it must know Metal Claw. Ditto flies in with its pincers ready to retaliate!]

[Action]

[cooltrainer]

[It does, and the attack clangs against the metal body of Scizor. It slashes at Ditto again.]

Steel Wing!

[Scizor maneuvers, its wings stabbing at the ditto's wings.]

[Action]

[samehere]

[Ditto noticeably flinches when its wings are damaged. That's not good.]

Fight it off, Metal Claw!

[She's hoping her plan of enduring hits and trying to keep Scizor away with Metal Claw will result in an attack boost for her Ditto.]

[Action]

[cooltrainer]

[Scizor attacks with Metal Claw, as well, mostly to strike away and parry the ditto's blows, showing its much better experience.]

Scizor, return! And now.

[He recalls Scizor, and out comes...]

Charizard!

[Cheap, Green. Strategic! But cheap.]

[Action]

[Oh gosh, this might end up being a losing battle. She won't risk relying on Ditto's speed as a Scizor.]

Good job Ditto, come back. You're up Mini-Dit!

[Her Dittos both trade places as her first transform back into its blob like state.]

Quickly Mini-Dit, Transform!

[She's not risking Mini-Dit getting caught out before it transforms. Say hello to a miniature Charizard.]

[Action]

[Mini-dit, huh. A very young ditto? Or just a small one.]

Use your weight! Fire Punch!

[Charizard makes sure to use every ounce of its weight in the punch.]

[Action]

[Just small, very small. Small enough that Mini-Dit is able to jump and swoop off to the side to keep out of the way of that Fire Punch.]

Try a Flamethrower, Mini-Dit!

[Despite Mini-Dit's small size, the burst of flames that comes flying out of its mouth could easily belong to a fully gown Charizard.]
