Good day, one and all! To all of you people listening in out there, I'd like to let you know that the SOS Brigade is holding a raffle. Today! All three of me will be handing out tickets at the SOS Brigade clubhouse, but we'll all be spreading out around the plaza too so keep an eye out for all of me!

[That's right, all three of her. Sorry, but there are no bonus prizes for anyone that ends up running into three 'Duplicas' today. Speaking of which, a raffle isn't much fun if you don't know what you're going in with a chance of winning, right?]

You might just end up winning one of these great prizes that the Brigade has lined up, so make sure you listen closely.

[Cue Duplica reading off the following list of prizes:
1. Free Brigade consultation
2. Free Favor from the Brigade
3. Ride on a Dragon
4. Spend a day with a celebrity of your choice
5. Signed Idol Photograph
6. A Slot Machine
7. A bento created by the chief of the Brigade
8. Photos on a Brigade member in a nurse outfit
9. Mp3 or CD of an acoustic version of God Knows
10. Mp3 or CD of a cover of Eye of the Tiger
Her enthusiasm seems to pick up when she reads out number four, that's definitely a good prize to get.]

So now you know what's going on all you have left to do is find me. We'll try and be around until noon today. We'll be drawing winners this afternoon so don't put it off until the last minute. All of me are looking forward to seeing all of you!

[After she's finished speaking, Duplica heads to the SOS clubhouse and stands outside with a bunch of tickets in her hands. There's also another Duplica wandering around the plaza with her own tickets and yet another, shorter Duplica doing the same thing. If you happen to talk to any of the Duplicas in the plaza then you'll only end up getting a friendly smile. The real deal and the clubhouse will be more than happy to talk and might even come over if any of her other 'Duplicas' are running into trouble.]

[He looked down and took the ticket with quietly stunned acceptance. Wasn't she more...talkative.

Then he remembered--all three of her. This must have been what she meant.]

You're not her, are you?

[Hello! It's a little hard for her to confirm whether she's Duplica or not, but the fact that this Duplica simply waves at Lupin after he's taken the ticket and then turns to wander off to find more people to give tickets to should confirm that no, this one is not the real deal.]

I see~

[He offered a small nod by way of farewell and made off in the direction of the SOS Brigade's Clubhouse.]

[The Duplica over there is much more talkative, unlike the last one.]

Hey there! [Hmm, a red jacket.] I'm sorry, but did one of me already give you a ticket? I remember something about someone with a red jacket coming when I announced the raffle earlier, so I hope you've already got one off of me.

I just wanted to introduce myself. Arsene Lupin III. Thanks for advertising this little thing!

That's good! It can be hard to keep track of all the tickets each of me has, so it's good knowing I still have some left to hand out.

[She can't accept any thanks for doing something simple like advertising, not when Haruhi went and organised everything in the first place.]

You should really be thanking the SOS Brigade! It's the Chief that thinks up these sorts of things in the first place. ['Spreading enjoyment' and all that.] It's nice for this me to meet you, Arsene Lupin, though I'm sure the Ditto that gave you your ticket was happy to meet you too.

Haruhi-san, right? [Because he spoke Japanese and spent a lot of time there.]

Just Lupin is fine--that's what everyone calls me. Do you happen to have a name? Oh, and what do you mean by 'ditto'?

[Because he would call them doppelgangers of some sort, or some kind of magic that Luceti is notorious for.]

That's right, Haruhi! [Spot on, have a gold star.]

Alright then, Lupin. My name's Duplica, those other girls out there that look like me are my Dittos! Ditto and Mini-Dit.

[It doesn't take long for her to look past Lupin and find her two Ditto out there in the plaza. She even points them out, just in case Lupin doesn't know where they are... But also to see if she can make him turn around for a second. That's all the time she'll need.]

Enchante, Duplica.

[A brief nod before he glanced over at the girls she pointed out in the plaza. Indeed, they looked like her. Indeed, one was smaller.]

...I'm not exactly understanding why you call them dittos. I mean, they're copies, but I thought human forms had a different kind of name.

I call them Dittos because that's what they are.

[That voice should sound very familiar as Duplica is trying out her new 'Arsene Lupin' impression. Not only has her voice changed, but when Lupin turns around it should be as though he's looking at another, smaller him, right down to the red jacket. Her eyes are still the same red they were before.]

I guess you're just not from a world that's familiar with Pokemon.

[He turned around at the sound of 'her' voice, noting it's familiarity. As a person who is similarly familiar with disguises, he's had to study the natural tones of his own so he can properly mimic anything. A wide grin spread on his face when he caught sight of her.]

--You. Are fantastic! That's quite a talent!

...and no, I don't know what 'pokemon' is.

[~~he should, being from a baseline earth kind of world, but he doesn't pay attention to children's toys~~]

[The reactions she gets from doing this sort of thing is part of the reason why she loves being an imitator. She can't help but smile at that.]

Listen up kid and I'll try to explain.

[She claps her hands together in the air, catching the attention of the other Duplicas by doing so.]

Ditto, Mini-Dit, transform now!

[At that, both of the Duplicas are covered in a bright light. They start shrinking down, becoming smaller and smaller until they resemble shapeless blobs. When the light fades there are two pink Pokemon standing where both Duplicas used to be.]

These guys are a part of my Pokemon team, Ditto and Mini-Dit. Here, they're coming to say hello.

[Being an amorphous blob makes traveling a little hard, but both Dittos are slowly making their way over to say hi.]

[He couldn't help but chuckle at her continued impression. That was a talent, to be sure. Maybe acting was a suitable career for her in the future...maybe. That depended on where she wanted to go.

Lupin's attention was pulled to the two other Duplicas...and their transformation. He frowned softly in curiosity as the two little creatures slid their way over.]

They're kind of cute...like bubble gum.

That's a first! They might have the colour of bubble gum but don't go trying to chew on them.

[They might transform and chew back. While she's not fond of the bubble gum comparison the cute comment sounds a little better.]

They are very cute, my Dittos look their absolute best when they look like this. [Oh, right, the explanation.] Both of these Pokemon are called Ditto, that's their name. Mini-Dit is a nickname I gave to the latest addition to my team.

[He doesn't say that they also looked like chewed bubble
gum...

Headtilt.]

Duplica-chan. I still don't really know what a pokemon is.

[... Yeaaah. Better keep that part to yourself, Lupin.]

These are Pokemon! There are over two hundred and fifty different Pokemon in my world, but I know there are even more out there too. [She doesn't know the numbers exactly, but having been introduced to some Unova Pokemon here she knows there are more.] There are all sorts of different Pokemon, some people use them to battle or some keep them for company. But they don't all look like Ditto! For example, Pikachu is a mouse Pokemon which has two red cheeks and a jagged tail. It's a little hard to describe without showing you a real live Pikachu.

So...you're saying that they're just regular animals in your world?

I think so. I've met people here who have called them animals and even monsters before, so the animals you have where you come from by just be like Pokemon where I come from! Does that make sense?

I think so, but we normally don't have animals that look kind of like silly putty and transform.

[LUPIN NO.

They don't look like silly putty at all, don't say that! Duplica just stares at Lupin for a moment before going over and picking up her two Ditto. It's okay guys, you're nothing like silly putty, really.]

[He's the lead character of a seinen anime. He doesn't understand this shonen stuff.]

...did I say something wrong?

Pokemon have feelings you know.

[So please don't call them names when they're right here. It was bad enough when Misty went and called them weird and abnormal.]

My Ditto might not be much to look at to you, but to me they're my friends and a part of my team.

[Head tilt.]

...I understand. This is all just very, very new to me.

I'm sorry, I can understand what it's like when you're trying to get used to something.

[It still bothers her and her Pokemon a little to just be called a name like that though. After staring down at her Ditto for a short moment she suddenly comes up with an idea. Ahem, back to the impression she was putting on before.]

Hey kid, why don't you try holding one of them?

Um. Okay?

[He understands, a little. The larger part of his questions lie in their habitat, how they're able to transform, and their level of intelligence at this point. Though he had met intelligent animals before ~~a certain dolphin comes to mind~~, he's never dealt with one that took offence at random commentary. ~~Again, excluding that dolphin. She was a bitch.~~

Lupin offered out a hand slowly, as if he were trying to pet a strange dog. One of them could slide on, right?]
